Statement
Through the apparatus of design I attempt to transform the impediments of urban architecture by drawing upon their noblest character. In my recent works, I was heavily influenced by the architectural forms I saw in Taiwan. In using these forms, I attempted to translate the compacted visual speed of urban architecture into a visual interplay of geometrical forms and planes of color. I undertake these transformations to create enlightened objects, and to allow my work to embrace both design and fine art, which are the two inseparable parts of any work of art.
